Harvesting Wood
To start a fire you first need to harvest some wood. To do that you will first need to find a hatchet. Once you have found a hatchet go in to a forest, open your gear menu by pressing the G button on your keyboard and place the hatchet in your tool belt by right clicking it and selecting 'Add to tool belt'. The hatchet must be in your tool belt in order to harvest wood not in weapon mode.
Once in your tool belt, right click the hatchet again and select 'Harvest Wood'.
Your player will being harvesting wood. Your player will automatically harvest 15 wood piles, however to start a fire you only need one, hence you can stop harvesting wood by pressing the W key on your keyboard.
