Placing a Safe/Storage Box
Keeping your loot safe is very important because its hard to find and getting it stolen is a pain in the butt. So to keep your loot safe, you can place a safe.
First you will need to find a safe

The safe capacity is:

Once you have found it, find a good place to hide it. Keep in mind that once you place it you will not be able to delete it unless you ask the server admin or you are a server admin yourself, so choose wisely! Also make sure you remember where you placed it. It might be a good idea to write down the map coordinates and some landmarks in the area.
To place the safe you will need the following tools:
- Entrenchment tool Error creating thumbnail: File missing
And the following items:
- 1x Safe Error creating thumbnail: File missing
- 1x Battery Error creating thumbnail: File missing
Once you have found a spot where you want to place your safe, open your inventory, right-click on the safe icon and select 'Old Safe'.
You will be prompted to enter a 4 - 6 number password. Do not share this password with anyone or they will be able to unlock your safe and take your loot!
Press the ENT key on the in game number pad to confirm the password.
After that you will have placed a safe. You can now put things inside it.
Locking & Burying The Safe
After placing loot inside your safe you need to lock it and bury it (You will not need an entrenchment tool to lock and bury your safe). It is very important that you lock and bury your safe, if you do not lock and bury it anyone can take items out of it!
To lock and bury it approach it and select 'Lock and bury safe' from the action menu. You will be promoted to enter your password again.
Unlocking The Safe
To gain access to the loot in your safe again after you have buried it, approach it and select 'Dig out and un-lock safe' from the action menu (you will not need an entrenchment tool to dig our your safe). You will once again be promoted for your password. Do not forget to lock and bury it again after you are done.
Storage Box
You can also place storage boxes to hide your loot, although you cannot lock and hide them like a safe you can place as many of them as you want and are ideal for storing items of low value short term.
The storage box capacity is:

To place a storage box you will need to find a storage box
then right-click its icon in the inventory and select 'Pitch Tent' to place it. You will not need any tools to do this. Remember that you cannot lock this box and anyone who finds it will be able to take anything from it.
