Finding Food

Hunting Animals

You can hunt animals that you find roaming the land such as cows and goats, gut them using a hunting knife and cook their meat on a fire to make steaks which you can eat to replenish your food level. Click here to learn how to start a fire and cook meat.

Gutting Animals

After killing an animal you need to gut it to obtain meat from it which you can cook. To gut an animal must have a hunting knife

  • Kill an animal.
  • Approach the animal and select 'Gut Animal' from the action menu.

  • Pickup the meat from the ground around the animal by selecting 'Take Raw Meat' in your action menu.

  • You will now have raw meatin your gear, but you have to cook the meat before eating it.

Types of Animals

Cows

Cows grazing in a field
A sheep
A goat
A boar in the forest
A rabbit sitting on the road

Cows can usually be found grazing in open fields.



When gutted
Produces: 6 pieces of raw meat.

Sheep

Sheep can usually be found grazing in open fields.



When gutted
Produces: 4 pieces of raw meat.

Goats

Goats can usually be found grazing in open fields.



When gutted
Produces: 2 pieces of raw meat.

Boars

Boars (wild pigs) can usually be found roaming inside and on the outskirts of forests.



When gutted
Produces: 6 pieces of raw meat.
