Origins Mod features a friend system which allows you to invite/join other players which allows you to see each others' possitions in game and on the in game map. This is useful when fighting in large groups to prevent accidental team kills.
The system is very easy to use, you will need a walkie-talkie
in your tool belt, and also a map 
and GPS 
if you want to see players on it.
Adding Friends
To add players to your friends list, right-click the walkie-talkie
and select 'Friends List'.
Then select the players you would like to send friend invitations to i.e. Player 3 in the Players column. Then click the 'Add' button and Ok.
Once they accept your invitation their name will appear in the 'Friends' column in the friends list. You will also see their name above their head if they are 1600 meters or closer.
If you have a map and GPS you will also see them on the map.
Accepting Invitations
When other players send you an invitation to be your friends you will be notified with a message at the bottom of the screen.
To accept the invitation, right-click the walkie-talkie
and select 'Invitations', under the invitations column you will see the names of all the players that have sent you invitations. To accept a players invitations, select their name, click the 'Add' button and press ok.
Unfriending Players
To unfriend players, open the friends list by right-clicking on the walkie-talkie
and selecting 'Friends List', then under the friends columns select their name, click 'Remove' and then 'Ok'.
Turn Walkie-Talkie On/Off
If you don't want to see players positions on in game and on the map for a while but don't want to unfriend your friends, just right-click the walkie-talkie
and select 'on/off'.
