in your tool belt. You can find safety matches lying around in various buildings on the island.
Open your gear menu by pressing the G button on your keyboard, right-click the match box and select 'Make Fireplace'. Your player will now build a fire place. After it has been built, go to it and select 'Light Fire' to light it or 'Put out fire' to put it out.
Woho, fire! Man's greatest discovery!
Note |
---|
You do not need matches to light an already built fireplace, you only need them to build it. |
Cooking Meat
Now that you have a fire going let's learn how to use it. By being close to it your body temperature will gradually increase if it is low. You can also cook meat using a fire.
To cook meat you need to have at least one raw meat steak
in your inventory. Just walk up to a burning fire and select 'Cook Meat' from the action menu. The raw meat will turn in to BBQ meat
which you can then right-click and select 'Eat Food' to consume. Yummy!
